如果电动汽车的续航里程翻倍,无人机可以持续飞行数小时,机器人无需频繁充电即可不知疲倦地工作,那会怎样?天津大学的研究团队与合作伙伴合作,在《自然》杂志上发表了突破性发现,开发出了能量密度超过600瓦时/千克的金属锂封装电池,以及能量密度达到480瓦时/千克的电池组。相较于当前的锂离子电池,这一创新在能量密度和耐用性方面实现了200%至300%的提升。
What if electric cars could travel twice as far, drones could fly for hours, and robots could work tirelessly without frequent recharging? A research team from Tianjin University, in collaboration with partners, has published groundbreaking findings in Nature, leading to the development of a lithium metal pouch cell with an energy density exceeding 600 Wh/kg and a battery pack achieving 480 Wh/kg. This innovation represents a 200% to 300% improvement in both energy density and endurance compared to current lithium-ion batteries.
