The weather is getting warmer and it's the peak season for picking fruits and vegetables again. Hao Xuanyi, Deputy Secretary of the Village Party Branch, is live streaming on his phone at the e-commerce base in Shuangjie Village, Shuangjie Town, Beichen District. In the picking greenhouse, fine fruits and vegetables such as small tomatoes and hanging melons are gradually maturing. The intelligent temperature control system makes this place full of vitality all year round, picking strawberries in spring, tasting fruits in summer, picking grapes in autumn, and tasting fresh vegetables in winter. The continuous stream of tourists leave their laughter and joy in this pastoral poetry and painting village.

Since the beginning of this year, Beichen District has innovatively created the working group, established seven chain groups including the integration of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, large-scale breeding, and red culture, and deeply promoted the promotion of party building and rural revitalization. As a demonstration town for rural revitalization, Shuangjie Town keeps pace with the times, focuses on the integration of the three industries, creates a characteristic agricultural industry cluster, cultivates modern rural tourism brands, and builds a smart agriculture demonstration base, forming a virtuous cycle of promoting tourism through agriculture and promoting agriculture through tourism. In the blueprint of rural revitalization, Shuangjie has played a touching pastoral melody with its unique development path.

Under the warm spring sun, boarded the large stone by the canal in Shuangjie Village, and the wide grand canal passed through the village in front of us. Peach blossoms bloom on both sides of the riverbank, and the calm canal water meanders towards the distance, nourishing the land of Shuangjie Village and witnessing the earth shaking changes in the lives of the villagers. Strolling through Shuangjie Village, the wide asphalt roads, well connected bus routes, tidy and orderly high-rise residential areas, large shopping malls with various well-known brands, nationally renowned large-scale chain supermarkets, advanced agricultural industry chains, and garden style industrial parks are all part of a modern urban scene.

In 2012, the Shuangjie Planting and Breeding Professional Cooperative invested in the construction of a multi story greenhouse for grape cultivation. It was stipulated that villagers over the age of 18 could join the cooperative as shareholders, and each villager only needed to pay a share capital of 10000 yuan to enjoy 7 points of land. The cooperative purchased grape stakes and grape stands uniformly, and handed them over to the villagers after planting. Regular fertilization and management were also carried out, and technical guidance was provided free of charge. The contracted villagers only need to carry out daily maintenance work such as pinching and weeding. After the fruits are ripe, the cooperative will carry out unified procurement. This nanny style management maximizes the service to villagers. The average annual income of villagers is 20000 yuan. The implementation of the shareholding system has enabled all villagers to return to the countryside, with a 100% employment rate for surplus labor. Villagers use their spare time to engage in agricultural production, which not only promotes income growth but also improves welfare benefits.

As more and more villagers plant grapes, the problems of single variety and declining market competitiveness are gradually becoming apparent. Shuangjie Village is exploring new fields of grape varieties and actively establishing a joint venture with the local grape research institute to introduce new and high-quality grape varieties from grape research institutes in various provinces and cities. At the Shuangjie Shuangchen Innovation Agricultural Park Grape Planting Base, nearly 50 varieties of grapes are growing well. Among them, the summer black grape, as a popular variety, has been sold throughout the country and has become a hot fruit.

On one side are villagers planting grapes, and on the other side are tourists flocking to the Shuangjie Modern Agriculture Demonstration Science and Technology Park built by the village collective. In recent years, Shuangjie Village has actively explored the development model of suburban rural industries, carefully created the linkage of vineyard, strawberry garden and creative garden, and strengthened characteristic agricultural advantageous industries. At the same time, the park cooperates with Tianjin Academy of Agricultural Sciences to introduce and cultivate high-quality fruit and vegetable varieties. More than ten new fruit varieties, including grapes, dragon fruit, cantaloupe,  persimmon, Fuji apple, etc., are not only supplied to the local market, but also exported to other places, becoming popular destinations for parent-child study and suburban tourism in urban areas. This park, which integrates planting, breeding, processing, distribution, picking, and tourism, is now also responsible for the construction of a national agricultural standardization demonstration zone and the demonstration and promotion of the grape industry technology system in Tianjin.

In 2024, Shuangjie Village will explore online-sale channels for agricultural products, adopting various forms such as greenhouse plus live broadcast room cross live broadcast, short video production, and professional anchor plus new farmer live broadcast, to bring Shuangjie's characteristic agricultural products to the dining tables of ordinary people. The live broadcast room has been broadcasting for nearly three months, and the sales revenue of Shuangjie Modern Agricultural Technology Industrial Park has reached a total of 150000 yuan. The online and offline joint efforts model continues to bring new traffic and customers to the park. As an important entity of the Revitalization Working Group in Shuangjie Town, this is also a key project for exploring party organizations leading professional cooperatives to drive village collective income growth in Shuangjie Town.

It is not difficult to find that Shuangjie Village is divided into three parts by the Beijing-Tianjin Expressway and the North Canal. The industrial park is located east of the expressway, the residential community is located west of the expressway and east of the North Canal, and the agricultural industrial park is located east of the North Canal. The collective economy of Shuangjie Village has initially formed three zone linkage model of agricultural industrial park, industrial park, and residential community, driving the coordinated development of agriculture, industry, and service industries.

The diversified integration and development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries is like a solid foundation, steadily supporting the economic building of rural revitalization in Beichen District. Next, Beichen District will focus on further consolidating the effectiveness of the revitalization group work, creating a vivid pattern of Party committee leadership, government promotion, market participation, enterprise operation, and farmers' income increase, making agriculture stronger, rural areas more beautiful, and farmers richer.
