Tianjin ＆ Chongqing hand in hand——2024 WIE contract value exceeds 100 billion

The 2024 World Intelligence Exposition （WIE） was concluded in Tianjin on June 22， 2024．

Since its opening on June 20， the 2024 WIE has shown the most cutting－edge new technologies and products in the world in a panoramic， multi－directional and zero－distance manner， attracting wide attention from all walks of life．

A total of more than 200 heavyweight guests from 49 countries and regions attended the conference． As of noon on June 22， 237 professional groups and 210，000 visitors have been received， and the topic reading volume on Weibo and the playback volume on Tiktok have exceeded 100 million．

The 2024 WIE adheres to the concept of“high－end， internationalization， specialization and marketization” and integrates exhibitions， experiences and events． With joint resources of Tianjin and Chongqing， it has built a high－end platform to lead the development direction of the intelligent industry， and achieved a number of fruitful results in disseminating advanced concepts， promoting practical cooperation， and promoting international exchanges．

During the expo， Tianjin signed strategic cooperation agreements with leading enterprises such as Sany Group， Zongshen Group and TBEA． It has collectively signed 103 key projects with leading enterprises such as CEC Blue Sky Technology， CNOOC， China Software， and Sany Heavy Energy， with a contract value of 109．2 billion yuan， injecting a strong impetus for the high－quality development of the intelligent industry．

The expo also saw the unveiling ceremony of the National Manufacturing Innovation Center for Modern Chinese Medicine， which was aimed to promote the deep integration of the innovation chain， industrial chain， capital chain and talent chain of the modern Chinese medicine industry．

With the platform of the 2024 WIE， a“city meeting room” was built to carry out continuous investment promotion and industrial docking， and has held 371 government － enterprise meetings and 15 matchmaking and leading enterprises meeting activities， reaching an intended financing， investment and procurement amount of more than 11 billion yuan．

A total of 102 research reports and innovation results， including“China’s New Generation of Artificial Intelligence Technology Industry Development 2024”， were released， 53 of which were released for the first time．

The cutting－edge technologies of artificial intelligence displayed during this expo are increasingly deeply integrated with industries， showing the huge potential of artificial intelligence in nurturing new industries， new models and new forms of business， and the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries．

Shen Maomao， director of the research office of Tianjin Industrial and Information Technology Bureau， said that the expo could promote the vigorous development of the AI industry． In addition， the in－depth exchanges and cooperation between government and enterprise， among enterprises， and though government – industry － university – research could fully implement the achievements of industrialization．
