Dongli holds 2023 International Automotive Test and Assessment Summit

Recently， the 2023 International Automotive Test Assessment Summit， hosted by China Automotive Technology Research Center Co．， Ltd．（CATARC） and themed on＂intelligent， green and safety＂， was held in Dongli district， Tianjin．

At the meeting， representatives of international NCAPs （New Car Assessment Program） and automotive companies conducted in－depth exchanges on such topics as the development trends of international NCAP and international evaluation technology trends， and held discussions on the development trends of China＇s automotive industry and policies．

During the summit， the collision test laboratory of the CATARC also conducted its 20，000th collision test． Since 2006， the C－NCAP regulations have undergone 5 upgrades， completing collision evaluations of 529 best－selling models in the Chinese market， promoting the overall safety level and industry progress of Chinese vehicles and helping domestic brands align their safety performance with international standards．

At present， based on the CATARC， the vehicle industry in Dongli district mainly focuses on the manufacturing of parts and car testing． New energy vehicles have formed a component manufacturing industry cluster centered around internationally renowned enterprises， such as DENSO and Tianjin Toyota Gosei， with 19 key enterprises． Intelligent connected vehicles mainly provide inspection and testing services for automobiles， and have formed an automobile inspection and testing base with three key enterprises． From January to February， the manufacturing industry achieved a production value of 2．11 billion yuan （about ＄307 million） and the service industry achieved revenue of 449 million yuan， playing a leading role in driving the whole industry．
