China sends shelters to Syria

As part of China’s emergency humanitarian assistance to quake－hit Syria， 225 makeshift shelters will be shipped from Tianjin Port on March 1．

At 6 meters long and 3 meters wide， the temporary houses are constructed of hot－dip galvanized metal frames and are equipped with steel doors， plastic steel windows， electric lights， sockets and other electrical equipment．

Coordinated efforts have been made by Tianjin Port to enhance the shipment efficiency and unblock the shipping channel．
